Community Social Development Strategy

In pursuit of our mission, we are committed to contributing meaningfully to the social and economic development of the communities in which we operate. Our strategy focuses on skills development, employment creation, and local economic empowerment through the following initiatives:

  • We will partner with Further Education and Training (FET) colleges to provide practical in-service training opportunities, enabling students to gain valuable hands-on experience in plant maintenance and operations.
  • We will prioritise employment opportunities for members of the local communities in which we operate, ensuring responsible and inclusive recruitment practices.
  • Through our affirmative procurement policies, we will give preference to local suppliers and service providers, thereby supporting the growth and sustainability of community-based enterprises.
